Mark founded PrettyGreen 4th July 2008 as a way of fulfilling his entrepreneurial dream of helping create and own new brands and after being convinced by one particular Client that it give him wiings (as well as realising that he wasn’t quite ready to retire). With over 20 years of Client and Agency experience, an integrated thinker, who’s not bad at coming up with an idea or two. As well as setting up PrettyGreen, he was an non-Exec for over 6 years of BritDoc, is often a judge for PRCA, PR Week and MAA Awards and sits on the PRCA Council. He is also a co-founder and Director of La Maison Fontaine (an Ultra Premium Absinthe range), where the Blanche is the now the most awarded Blanche absinthe in the world. Joint Managing Director
Emma has been at PrettyGreen since the company was born and now helps rule the roost alongside Jessica Hargreaves in her role as Joint Managing Director. Having worked in PR for over 14 years, Emma has planned and implemented a vast array of communications Campaigns for a variety of leading FMCG, lifestyle and entertainment Brands. Her mantra is that even the seemingly dull can fuel a conversation if the idea is brilliant enough (no brand snobbery here!). Career highlights include far too many to mention, career low points however include pretending to be a cleaner (complete with tabard & marigolds) for a Client as part of an Evening Standard case study…a full page no less, anything in the name of coverage!
Joint Managing Director
Jess heads up our integrated services for Clients – making sure that we create outstanding Campaigns that can work across multiple communication channels. With 15 years experience across blue-chip, FMCG, retail and film her number one goal is to always deliver ROI. As a Geordie, who started her career in the pub trade, she brings a level of groundedness to PrettyGreen as Joint Managing Director with Emma Grace and her love of spreadsheets is only surpassed by her love of Christmas, where planning starts in late Spring.
The greenest of all at PrettyGreen, our very own Captain Planet Sian started her career in music, even starting her own label, Pure Mint. Moving to Making Waves, Sian throughly enjoyed the benefits of working across Malibu, Cuervo, Sourz, Unite and Aftershock before joining Lunch Communications to manage events in the UK and across Europe. After a year in Oz, enjoying the sun, sand and surfers, Sian returned to the UK to become Head of Events, working across Cadbury 2012 and growing the PrettyGreen events offering. Also a fitness instructor, Sian can do 100 press-ups in a minute (even whilst saving the planet).
With over 20 years experience working in various Finance capacities for London ad agencies, Tim brings a wealth of knowledge to this vibrant growing company. His IT skills should keep the company network running smoothly and his unhealthy interest in the UK tax system is causing some raised eyebrows. Tim has a very keen interest in cricket (playing, organising and watching), football, golf, skiing and cycling. He can often be seen charging over the Surrey Downs on his Roubaix, and still competes in a 5-a-side football league against lads half his age!
Head of Brand and Operations
Wendy started off her career in Account Management, heading up Clients like Levi’s, Converse and Coca-Cola, before moving into a Brand Director role. Responsible for HR, Finance, Office and brand development, she’s particularly loved at payday. She once seduced a Director at her old company, but is happy to admit that he since became her husband and the father of her three children.
Client Services Director - Comms
Sarah joined PrettyGreen at the beginning of 2011 to look after the PR element of the Cadbury London 2012 Olympic sponsorship. Aside from all things Olympic (and chocolate) related, she has created and run Campaigns at PrettyGreen for the likes of EA Games, Virgin Media, Magners and Gaymers. Life in the world of PR over the last ten years has included everything from spending 17 days in a field during the Olympics, to co-ordinating BlackBerry’s sponsorship of London Fashion Week for four seasons, spending eight hours watching a former Pussycat Doll get body-painted into a computer game character and installing real-life human weights at Gymbox. When she’s not at PG towers, Sarah can be found obsessing over Take That, Grey’s Anatomy, Diet Coke and West Ham United.
Client Services Director - Events
Kate started her career many years ago as a WWF Panda bear roaming shopping centres across NZ, but has long since hung up her animal suit and moved 10,000 miles to work behind the scenes – now heading up the Events Team at PrettyGreen. With over 13 years delivering large & small-scale events across the globe for alcohol, retail, charity & FMCG clients, Kate is an experienced team leader who believes in nurturing and developing great talent. Career highlights include delivering Strongbow music experiences across 20 festivals in the UK, watching the sun come up at a J&B party in Cancun & getting her name in the Guinness World Record books for Hula Hooping for a whole 3 minutes for Sport Relief (with 1000 other people). A kiwi, who has apparently lost her accent, Kate still amuses when asking for a ‘pen’ and is a budding wine-geek, in an attempt to try to bond with her wine-maker dad.

Having studied Drama and Theatre Arts at Goldsmiths University, Flic has always loved putting on a show! With a background in both retail and film marketing Flic’s journey to PrettyGreen has been a varied one. It all began at House of Fraser working for the Brand team and as one job led to the next she found herself in LA working with the the World’s most famous mouse and the Disney International Marketing team. An agency buy out saw her return to the UK and the subsequent year was spent looking after a 350 ft monster (Godzilla) from fan’s first look at San Diego Comic Con all they way to his release in 2014. More recent work has included a pop-up shop full of cheese, a wine bar activation in Old Spitalfields Market and numerous activations for Nintendo. Flic’s not so secret passion is for fashion. Her ultimate dream – to produce runway shows for the World’s biggest designer brands. When she’s not dreaming of shoes she can be found in the cinema watching the latest releases, watching the rugby (she coached at county level for 2 years) or in the pub with a spicy Bloody Mary.
Group Account Director
Lucy joins PrettyGreen with eight years of sport sponsorship and PR experience and having worked across no less than 38 different sports… who’s counting? Lucy’s PR career was first crafted in the world of luxury travel before she was tempted away from the glamour of 5* hotels by the chants of the terraces to deliver T-Mobile’s football sponsorships for Euro 2004 and 2006 FIFA World Cup. Since then, Lucy has managed campaigns for brands big and small includingPUMA, Vodafone and Greene King IPA as well as Olympic campaigns for sponsors and London 2012. Heading up the PrettyGreen sport team, Lucy joins from Edelman where she led the London sports practice. Lucy was 200m county champion at school. Nowadays Lucy plays netball and prefers jogging to sprinting.
Creative Planner - Digital
After working in the TV industry for a couple of years helping coordinate cartoons for Disney, Lucy quickly realised that she spent far too many hours on the internet and landed a job in online PR. She hasn’t looked back, and now spends her days surfing Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, all in the name of her digital clients of course. Hailing from a consumer technology background at Ketchum, Lucy has worked on digital campaigns for Sony Europe, Philips Consumer Lifestyle, Kodak and Baileys Irish Creme, and got a taste for even more consumer brands at Hill + Knowlton where she worked on Dairylea, Carte Noire Coffee, TUI travel and Macmillan Cancer Support, among others. At PrettyGreen Lucy loves nothing more than getting stuck into an influencer audit for Under Armour, overseeing the community management of 1.3 million Facebook fans for Nando’s, or trying out the latest social media tool in the office. After performing in the London Olympic Opening Ceremony in 2012, Lucy now spends her free time planning her next US road trip and obsessing over anything Lego-related.
Chris is old and new, joining us in 2014 as Creative Director. He was here previously as an AD working on Cadbury, Nando’s and EA before heading off for a two year tour of London PR agencies. Deciding that the grass doesn’t get any greener he returned to the hallowed turf of PrettyGreen and now looks after the agencies creative offering whilst helping out on the very occasional day-to-day issue. Prior and between working here he managed a number of blue chip andFMCG brands including; Barclays, Bacardi, BMW, Buxton and others that don’t begin with the letter ‘B’.
Whether it’s in a festival field, a production warehouse or brainstorming at PrettyGreen towers, Essex-boy Ben has a passion for building impactful experiential Campaigns. After seven years on the road managing Events all over the UK, Ben joined PrettyGreen. He’s spent the last three years delivering Campaigns for Cadbury 2012, Under Armour and Betfair. Ben’s great love of sport has meant that his ultimate PrettyGreen highlight had to be working on the amazing London 2012 Olympics but as an 80’s child, he’s also enjoyed being put in a headlock by strongman Geoff Capes and a big birthday hug from Kriss Akabusi. When not at PrettyGreen, Ben can be found on the golf course, watching his beloved West Ham or in his kitchen trying to be the next Jamie Oliver.
Senior Account Executive
Bianca has been with the PrettyGreen Team since 2013 when she joined as a temp, but loved being around the place so much she joined the events team and is now a Senior Account Executive. Hailing from North Yorkshire she has lived in London for years but has not lost her great Northern work ethic a thing called hard graft. She has a degree in Criminology & Psychology and an Acting Diploma all of which come in handy when working in events, no drama can phase her!
Since being at PrettyGreen Bianca has worked with many exciting brands on events and activations such as John Lewis, LEGO and Cadbury. She has also produced an event for Under Armour.
In her spare time she loves embroidery and pretty much all crafts , wearing black, reading and drinking gin. She is writing a book of stories for children.
Helping to bring a visual eye to the team, Dan is PrettyGreen’s in house Creative. After graduating University, he moved to the big city with his 6 best friends to pursue his career as a graphic designer. He spent a while as a freelance designer which led to some really great opportunities such as being commissioned as an Illustrator in his first published book. He eventually landed at PrettyGreen and hit the ground running, helping out the team over a spectrum of briefs and clients. When not staring aimlessly at his giant computer screen he can be found in his homeland of Essex, or listening to some live music somewhere in London. Dan loves to spend time hanging out with his girlfriend or best mates, finding new and exciting places to eat, drink, or be merry. If he was any more laid-back, he’d be lying down.
Essex girl Emily joined PrettyGreen as an office runner fresh out of Sussex Uni back in September 2013. She has a passion to organise and loves ticking off a good old fashioned pen and paper list. Emily also adds some real creative flair to the events team with ideas that sit on the edge of the ridiculous and down right brilliant. When not in the office Emily can be found with her head buried in a good book or curled up on the sofa watching her beloved Mad Men. She can also be seen on dance floors throughout East London pulling out some 80s MC Hammer running man moves.
Having just graduated with a degree in French from the University of Nottingham, Ella packed her bags and did the big move to London. After a year of living in Paris in 2012, working for both Media studio company Abel14 and at top fashion labels such as Acne and Dior (ooh lala!), she got a taste of working in a high-paced and event-filled environment, and knew that this was something she wanted to pursue. Starting at PrettyGreen was exactly the company she had in mind, and being an eager performer at school, it provides the perfect stage for her. By getting actively involved in events, whether that be dominating a megaphone during fitness workouts, or acting for clients at a party, Ella enjoys getting in the role, to make sure any event is fun and enjoyable. Her aim is to expand her experience with a wide spectrum of brands, having thus far worked on events for John Lewis, UnderArmour, giffgaff and Pandora. Although Ella is a born and bred Bristol girl, she is undoubtedly recognised (and scrutinised) by her ‘posho’ accent. (She still wears a scrunchy though…)
After graduating from the University of Brighton (with a 1st in English Language), Emma set her sights on the fast-paced world of the media. So far in her PR career, Emma has worked for a number of challenger and blue-chip brands including L’Oreal, Dunelm, Mothercare ,Warner Leisure Hotels and Hotels.com. Fast-forward two and a half years and with plenty of experience across digital and traditional media relations (highlights include securing a prime time slot on This Morning and a personal call from Jane McDonald) Emma’s PR journey has brought her to vibrant pastures of PrettyGreen. In her spare time, Emma is a fashion and beauty obsessive and has dabbled with the idea of becoming a part time fashion blogger. At weekends, you’ll most likely find her in the gym doing some form of strength training or escaping to the country to spend time with her Ragdoll cats, Tiki and Taniwha and pet tortoise Jon Jon.
Faye has worked over 15 years within the PR industry including here at our very own PrettyGreen. With many years experience looking after big consumer brands from food and drink to sport and fashion, Faye is now bringing her knowledge and organisational skills to the other side by helping keep up the smooth running of the agency. There is not much that Faye won’t be able to help you with and her background knowledge means she understands the business from all levels. Always ready to help and a friendly face waiting to greet you, Faye has an eye for all things that look nice and will sprinkle her magic touch to make our office chic and sleek. With a passion for sport, fashion and interiors and a cheeky weakness for a fine wine there is always a wealth of knowledge or a background story she can tell.
After growing up on the beautiful, small island of Cyprus and after a little internal debate on what to do next, Fran made her way to the big and scary city of London where she attended a course in Media, Culture and Communications.
During her last year of Uni, Fran interned as part of the music and fashion team at Purple PR where she quickly realised that she quite enjoys the mad world of PR. After a quick stint working in Marketing back in Cyprus, Fran returned to London to work at Ogilvy PR and M&C Saatchi PR working on a huge range of clients such as Persil, 3M, the Brazilian Tourist Board, American Express, Fanta, Ocado, The House of Peroni and NBC Universal.
Her claim to fame has been appearing dressed up as a panda, “educating” school kids on the importance of the Chengdu Panda Research Base on ITV’s Good Morning Britain.
After graduating from Southampton University in 2015 Jemma decided that if she could not be famous then Media was where it would be for her!
With a years stint at FHMmagazine working in the editorial team Jemma slowly moved into (party) event planning for the magazine with the 100 Sexiest being one of the more glamorous events.
Moving onto a Youth Marketing agency Jemma worked across the likes of Aftershock, Malibu and Playstation.
With strong brand experience and knowledge of the market Jemma then went onto work at RPM for 8 years, working across almost every brand in their portfolio – Sky, Heineken, Diageo, Coca Cola to name but a few.
Jemma’s most recent (and proudest) achievement of having a baby boy has led her to PrettyGreen where she works across both retail and live event projects which she loves.
When not in the office you will find Jemma either dressed up as Barbie, in a random soft play establishment or partying in her home town of Essex!
Front of House
Since graduating from Saint Martins with a degree in textile design Jess has worked in different fields spanning from event design, costume breakdown for film and sales for Barneby's working with galleries and auction houses. With her love of travelling and background in textiles, Jess escaped London and landed a job in West Africa working for a sustainable tourism project as a design consultant. After catching malaria twice she decided that maybe Africa wasn’t for her, so came home and pursued her dream of being a fine artist. She now gets regular commissions which she works on in her spare time (her work is amazing). Outside of the PrettyGreen office Jess' passions are painting, photography, her guitar and producing music. She also loves a good G&T and catching up on her favourite programme Eastenders.
After completing a business degree and an internship at Warner Brothers, Jade decided that one whole year sat behind a desk justified an 18 month long break. So she packed up her (very small) bag and rambled aimlessly around Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Cook Islands and America, where she primarily gained weight and took too many selfies. After crash landing back in the UK very tanned and slightly plumper, Jade landed a job in TV publicity working at Talkback Thames on programmes such as The X Factor. The TV work continued as she went to Channel 4 and then eventually to BBC Radio 1 and Radio 1 Xtra where she learnt how to rap and dance the dutty wind. When not in the office, Jade stretches the social boundaries around how much one person can obsess over dogs and is vigorously campaigning for an office puppy (with no avail.) She is also an avid collector of air miles and loves a bit of Bikram yoga (yes.. the sweaty, smelly kind).
Senior Account Executive
Having graduated from Bournemouth as a multimedia journalist, London boy James fulfilled early ambitions to simultaneously become a sports and men’s lifestyle journalist whilst working at Loaded Magazine. By 2013, he’d turned to ‘the dark side’ and, after a short stint at Frank PR, was taken under PrettyGreen’s wing where he now works on all things Under Armour, Deezer and smart. Sports-obsessed, when not misplacing volleys on the tennis court or sat in the bike saddle he’ll be cheering on his beloved Spurs, hoping Leeds United’s glory days return, or wondering if Miami Dolphins will ever regain Super Bowl supremacy.
Before joining PrettyGreen, Jo spent 14 years in ATL creative agencies. Firstly in Account Management, before moving into Planning. As a Planner Jo has worked at Lowe, JWT, Fallon and Grey with clients such as P&G, Unilever, GSK, Sony, Cadbury and The BBC. Jo is an APGaward winner and, in her career, has also been credited as the most awarded planner in the world. Her final role inATL agencies was at Grey as a Global Planning Director in 2013, before joining PrettyGreen in 2014. Jo also part-owns a sex toy company, is a qualified primary school teacher, a chef-school graduate and mother of two.
After leaving the University of York with a degree in English Lit, Joni quickly realised that a career in music journalism was going to get him into gigs for free but wasn’t going to put food on the table. While writing about music for various outlets he jumped in and out of music PR before diving into the world of consumer PR at Taylor Herring. At Taylor Herring Joni worked across various stunts such as following a polar bear around London (Sky Atlantic/Fortitude) and organising a giant Stig statue’s journey to Poland (BBC). He also worked across accounts such as William Hill, Red Stripe and Samsung. Joni now works on giffgaff, Nintendo, Under Armour and Nando’s (where he spent 5 of his student years as a Nandoca cooking chicken!). When he isn’t at PrettyGreen HQ, Joni can be found in various Sam Smith’s pubs in London attempting to find a pint as cheap as those in the North.
Senior Account Director
Kezia joined PrettyGreen in 2014 to drive the PR for Nandos, Virgin Media and Sound United. With close to 10 years experience in PR Kezia has developed and led on high profile campaigns across local and international markets in a number of sectors including consumer lifestyle, FMCG, consumer technology andNGO. Naturally, working in PR Kezia has been involved in everything from the weird and wonderful and on occasion the downright random…everything from leading a press trip in the villages of Mali with award winning UK actress Thandie Newton to having to cart a giant Monopoly Cat through the streets of London, not to mention being involved in the UN Climate Change Summit where she worked alongside supermodel Helena Christensen and Grammy award artist Angelique Kidjo. When not at PrettyGreen Towers, Kezia loves nothing more than to travel to far flung locations (she speaks two languages fluently and can just about get by on a third!)
Mike came to PrettyGreen to help out for a few days in the summer of 2012. Two years later and he’s still here. Mainly because it’s a good deal more interesting than insurance and he’s also still chasing folks to complete their time sheets. He can’t get enough of financial reporting and has a love/hate relationship with Excel. When not dealing with numbers, he enjoys photography, watching rugby league and wheat beers (drinking, not watching). And when he can escape to the hills, Mike loves mountain biking and hill-walking.
Natasha started out at PrettyGreen with a week of ‘I’m just helping out with the filing’. Months later she’s still here a couple of days a week to guard the petty cash tin and make sure everyone gets their expenses in on-time(ish). When not working on her love/hate relationship with Excel, Natasha is a playwright, currently writing a play about deep space and black holes with The Soho Theatre.
Either way, to get away from the computer screen she can be found pounding the streets or cycling to the nearest view point so she can wave around her beloved cameras that she likes to pretend to know how to use.
Having graduated university with a degree in art, Nicola tried her hand at a few career paths before finding her way to PrettyGreen and the world of Studio management. Joining in 2014 she started on Front of House, however having proved it was too dangerous to have her near a phone she was welcomed in to the open arms of the PrettyGreen Studio where she can’t cause as much damage…surely?
Terrible at sports, unless it’s an Adam Sandler movie marathon (which deserves a medal) she’s very good at rum drinking and irrational clothes purchasing and is happiest when spending time with her dog Biggie.
Senior Account Executive
Rhea is half English, half German but grew up in southern Spain; she also spent 3 years of her childhood in France and has spent time working in both Germany and Dubai. Fresh out of University, (with a 2:1 in Media Studies) she’s walked away with some great work placements under her belt including an internship at BBH advertising, 12 months with L’Oreal and a placement with Esquire magazine Middle East, amongst others. Now the time has come to choose her path and it seems PR is where her passion lies. Rhea is a huge animal lover, with six rescue dogs back home in Spain; she also loves to cook, eat lots of cheese and drink wine – not necessarily in that order!
Prior to joining PrettyGreen Rob managed to get himself a History degree at Goldsmiths University, but rather than being a historian opted for a career in PR. After 9 months of work experience at a nameless Agency (who didn’t pay him), Rob landed his first full PR role at House PR, where he stayed for nearly 3 years working on entertainment, lifestyle and drinks brands (Amazon Prime, Empire Cinemas, Warner Brothers, Discovery Channel, Peugeot, Doctor Who, Sailor Jerry) In his spare time Rob likes to watch and play (a lot of) football, playing for Oldsmiths AFC, and 5 aside with his mates. Rob’s a big Liverpool fan and when he’s not playing or watching football he’s making music - he plays the guitar, drums and piano. Although currently not in a band, Rob was in a number of bands since the age of 14 and has toured Japan, Europe and played all over the UK - Claim to Fame, he had a track played by Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1 when he was just 15. Rob’s other hobbies include binge TV & Films, attempting to grow (legal) herbs, plants and vegetables on his windowsill and looking after his cat named Audrey (who he talks to like a human).
Rosie joined PrettyGreen in January 2015 as a digital publicist, after working as a PR & Social manager for a digital agency in Leeds. Before PrettyGreen, Rosie spent three years managing award-winning campaigns across international territories, covering fitness and nutrition, automotive, gaming/gambling; as well as experience working across music and entertainment, travel and hospitality sectors. Her career has so far seen her holding down a 15ft inflatable rabbit in gale force winds to promote Rabbit Awareness Week; covering the UK’s first Rabbit Grand National; through to live social media for fitness events with the likes of Amir Khan and James Haskell. At PrettyGreen, she works across a range of accounts from fitness and beauty through to 3D film technology, developing digital and social media strategies. Tara is of Devonian decent who embarked on a journey to pursue her love for events in the ‘big smoke’ after graduating at Bournemouth University. Since then, career highlights have included working on three action sport and festivals; NASS, Boardmasters, Freeze, Nissan’s hospitality programme for the UEFA Champions League Final, to a variety of Cadbury projects for shopper and sampling campaigns. In her spare time she’s a limb flinging, music absorbing, hula hooping, festival connoisseur. She also doesn't let us forget that she applied to work at PrettyGreen years ago, but didn’t get the job. Tenacity is her middle name.
Senior Account Manager
Tristan is one of the latest additions to the PrettyGreen events team. Originating from the West Country he has a keen interest in cider and the mighty cherry and whites (Gloucester RFC). During his 7 years of agency experience he has worked on a wide range of brands ranging from Coca-Cola, Microsoft and easyJet. Tristan started his career working on live music events and this soon developed into a passion for creating unforgettable experiences, which has now led him to PrettyGreen. Tristan’s appetite for food in particular cheese and love of diving (not always the best combination) has led him to experience some amazing countries, and he will continue to search for the country that provides the best of both!
